Have you heard about the ridiculous dress code guidelines issued by a sorority in Cornell? It's hard to believe that such a thing could happen in this day and age!
The guidelines are absolutely absurd, bordering on discriminatory. Not only do they dictate what colors and materials are acceptable for outfits, but they also preclude certain body types from wearing specific styles. This is completely unacceptable and goes against the principles of inclusivity and diversity that we should be striving for.
It's disappointing that any organization would resort to such measures, and it's important that we speak out against this kind of behavior. Let's continue to work towards a more accepting and open-minded society, one where we celebrate differences instead of shaming them.
We hope that the members of this sorority will reconsider their guidelines and strive to be more inclusive in the future. Diversity and acceptance should be the guiding principles of any organization, and it's up to all of us to make that a reality.
